Things to remember during the warmer months at Paw Paddock

All news

What to remember when visiting our paddocks during the warmer months:

  • A water source:

Majority of the water supplies in our paddocks are located in the secure parking areas, so we recommend bringing your own supply to place inside of the paddock to ensure that your pooch is staying hydrated throughout your walks!

Please note, we do not have a water source at our Andover paddock, so please remember to bring your own supply for your walks at this paddock

  • Check the weather:

Before your booking, please double-check the weather/temperature. Once your booking has passed the 24-hour cancellation window, we are unable to reschedule or cancel.

The British weather is notoriously unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a back-up umbrella or waterproofs to your session. Always wear suitable footwear for your visit.

If you are struggling to cancel or reschedule your sessions online, please contact the office on 01243 963952, or send an email to bookings@pawpaddock.co.uk

  • Utilise our field shelters:

Our paddocks are large outdoor spaces, and shaded areas can be limited, so be sure to take full advantage of the shade and field shelters within the paddocks.

Please note; our Romsey, Balcombe, and Mapledurwell paddocks do not have field shelters, so please prepare for your sessions accordingly when visiting these paddocks

  • Double check your session times prior to arrival:

Please ensure you are arriving on time to your sessions, arriving early can cause distress to other customers and their dogs. Additionally, cars can quickly reach dangerously high temperatures, which can be fatal.

When you arrive at the paddock, you must remain in your car until the customer before you has vacated the paddock. If you arrive early, please ensure you wait in a safe place, out of sight of the paddock to avoid any distractions to the customers within the paddock

We hope these reminders help ensure both you and your pooch have enjoyable visits to our paddocks during the warmer months. By preparing ahead of time, you'll be able to make the most of your time with us, keeping both you and your dog comfortable and safe.
